Born and raised in Honolulu Hawaii, at an early age, Salah Khudari had a special talent and a passion to draw and make pictures. He moved to California to study Illustration at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. While in school, Salah started his professional art career drawing live caricatures at the San Francisco Zoo as well as Pier 39 at Fisherman’s Wharf. Currently, Salah Khudari is a resident artist and freelance illustrator at the Art Explosion Studios where he attempts to capture the spectrum of human emotions in his portrait paintings and humorous illustrations.
